Trust God’s Timing!

Trust God’s Timing!

Trust God’s Timing!

Scripture for Reflection:
📖 Proverbs 3:5-6“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Devotional Thought:
So many of us struggle with moving ahead of God, expecting Him to catch up. We push forward in our own strength, thinking we know best, only to find ourselves stressed, anxious, and on the verge of burnout. But real faith isn’t about forcing things to happen—it’s about being still and trusting that He is God (Psalm 46:10).

There was once a man who made a huge investment without seeking God first. At first, things seemed fine, but over time, his business slowed, and he found himself on the verge of losing everything—his home, his finances, his peace. Desperate and knowing he had no control, he did something radical: he took his children on vacation, trusting that only God could turn things around. While away, he received a call from his secretary—he had received a letter from the IRS. Inside was a refund check big enough to restore his home and business. God moved when he let go.

Sometimes, faith looks insane. It won’t always make sense, but trusting God always leads to supernatural provision.

📖 Isaiah 40:31“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…”

Reflection Questions:

1️⃣ In what areas of your life have you been trying to move ahead of God? 2️⃣ What is one step you can take today to surrender your plans and wait on God’s timing? 3️⃣ How has God provided for you when you finally let go and trusted Him?

Prayer:
Father, help me to trust You completely, even when I don’t understand. Teach me to wait on Your timing and not to rush ahead in my own strength. I surrender my plans to You, knowing that You are working all things for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
