Unfathomable Faith

Unfathomable Faith

Stepping into the Next Level of God's Plan

Faith, by its very nature, can be hard to define. The Bible describes it in Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” But what happens when our faith transcends what we know, when it grows beyond what we can even comprehend? That's what I like to call Unfathomable Faith.

The word “unfathomable” means something that is incapable of being fully explored or understood. Unfathomable faith, then, is a deep, unshakable belief that bypasses logic and human reasoning—it springs straight from your spirit, especially when your mind can’t fully grasp it. Think of it as a backup generator for your soul, kicking in when your natural self can’t figure things out.

The Next Season: Faith to Faith, Glory to Glory

As God leads us into deeper spiritual maturity, He begins to require more from us. The stairway to heaven is one step at a time, but as we advance in our journey with God, we’re expected to grow. What was once required at step one will be replaced with new challenges at step two.

Luke 12:48 tells us, “To whom much is given, much will be required.” With each level God brings us to, He asks for more faith, more surrender, more growth. It’s the natural progression of walking with Him—from strength to strength, from faith to faith, and from glory to glory (2 Timothy 2:1).

Transformed by Godly Vision

In this walk of faith, many of us are given divine visions—glimpses of the future that defy all odds. These visions are far beyond what we could ever dream up on our own. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to lean not on our own understanding, and Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

These God-given visions are not meant for us to figure out on our own. They are too big for human comprehension because God is showing us just how powerful He is. He wants us to know that the vision will come to pass by His hand, not ours. This requires us to remain in a place of complete surrender—letting Him guide the way while we stay in the passenger seat.

Guard Your Vision

When God gives you a vision, be careful who you share it with. Not everyone will have the spiritual sight to see what God has shown you. Sharing the vision with the wrong people can invite seeds of doubt, which may cause delays or even impair your spiritual sight. Unfathomable faith requires not only trust in God’s timing and provision but also clarity of vision and focus.

As you step into this next season of your life, know that God is requiring more from you. He’s calling you to a higher level, and that means unfathomable faith is necessary. Stay strong, stay focused, and trust that what God has promised will come to pass—by His power, not your own.
