Redemption & Restoration
Theme: God is not just bringing you back—He's moving you forward. Today, we reflect on how He redeems what’s been lost and restores what felt broken.
Scriptures to Meditate On:
Ruth 4:13–17 (CSB)
Boaz redeems Ruth, but the blessing doesn’t stop there—Naomi’s name is restored and legacy secured.
Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Stillness isn’t inaction—it’s trust.
Joshua 3:5 (CSB)
“Consecrate yourselves, because the Lord will do wonders among you tomorrow.”
God will do His part—but preparation starts with you.
Isaiah 61:7 (CSB)
“Instead of your shame, you will have a double portion…”
Redemption replaces what was lost with more than you could imagine.
Thought Starters:
Ruth’s redemption came through alignment, not striving. What areas of your life is God calling you to simply align with Him instead of trying to fix it yourself?
Naomi’s restoration didn’t come through her own doing. It came through connection, obedience, and divine setup. Who or what in your life could God be using to bring healing where you didn’t expect it?
Joshua had to lead a people across the Jordan and into a promise that had been spoken generations before. What promise has God spoken over you that’s been waiting on your yes?
Faith Challenge:
Don’t try to figure out every detail. Today, spend some time in prayer and journaling. Ask the Lord:
What does redemption look like in this season for me?
Where am I still carrying shame or delay that He wants to turn into double portion?
Who might be waiting on the other side of my obedience to experience restoration?
Closing Prayer Starter:
Lord, thank You for being my Redeemer. I don’t want to just recover—I want to walk in restoration. Show me where You are rewriting the story. Open my heart to trust You, even when I can’t trace the full plan. I know You’re working wonders—even now.
